We are encouraging parents and children to work together to write news stories about their community.
For parents keen to participate but not sure how to do this, there are lots of hints and help provided on the site for you to download and review.
Please look at other stories already published or download the following document for ideas.
If the story is about a place you have recently visited, or a local sports event and want to tell others about how good it was, you can include photos or images, or even a video blog if you have one!
When the story is complete (prepare as Word document or similar) visit the website and take the link entitled 'Get Involved' on the home page and follow the on-screen instructions. This will enable you to add the story to the system and get it placed in the 'stories to be published' directory. Alternatively, attach the documentto an email and send it to the News Stories Editor.
We will look forward to reading your contributions!
